In 2005 Willem Boshoff and Tommy Tompson, 2 friends, got together to create their dream restaurant. Wille came from a financial background with previous experience in restaurant management and Tommy from the police force with years and years of management experience.

 

They realised that their dream would not be built in a day, but with the motto “style in simplicity” in mind, they started. maincThey invested in a small corner house on Kruis and President Street and worked day and night to create the foundation of their dream and on 6 June 2005 O’s was born. Without any marketing whatsoever people started flooding through the door and before long they were fully booked most nights of the week. Although 2005 turned out to be a superb year they still weren’t quit satisfied, as they still had to show people away, because the lack of capacity. So the dream continued…

 

In 2006 they found a beautiful location right by the river and not without its difficulties it became O’s second home and what it is known today.

 

Now the dream still continues and there will be many more to come, but for now they are content on how things are and hope you are too.

 

We can’t stress enough how valuable our customers are to us. Not only could we have not done this without you, but also without you who would be there to enjoy what we do? Thank you all once again for supporting us over the past years and hopefully we will be able to do the same for many more years to come.
